I'm Dennis, a UI/UX designer with 8 years of experience creating design for a variety of clients, from local businesses to enterprise-level companies, such as AIA and ESPRIT. I specialize in customer experience, user experience and graphic design. I prioritize intuition, empathy, and accessibility in my design philosophy, and I strive to create designs that are both user-centered and visually appealing.

I'm particularly proud of two projects I've worked on: an online ordering platform for a local cafe and a brand center for AIA. For both projects, I conducted extensive user research to understand their needs and preferences, and I used wireframes and prototypes to refine the app's interface and user flow. Today, the cafe app is used by the Hong Kong and Cambodia branches, while the AIA brand center is being used by internal staff members from all markets.

In addition to my design work, I'm also a guest instructor and designer in the Journalism and Communication program at CUHK. Since 2020, I've taught up-and-coming journalism students about the principles of UI/UX design, provided guidance on their web design projects, and helped them build the final product.

I am a graphic designer working in a small design agency called Kactus Design based in Hong Kong. I specialize in brand identities and digital design. At my current job, I provide design solution service for our main client—AIA, as well as other clients, such as VISA, Sony TV and many more.
